Hosting FAQ

The details before you decide.

Answers about the plans, what to clarify before service, moving an existing account and where to get help.

Plans & costs

Choosing the right starting point.

Full plan comparison →
Which plan fits my workload?

Start with shared hosting for a compatible site that does not need its own operating system. Compare a VPS when you need root access or custom services. Consider dedicated hardware when the workload requires an entire physical machine. Check runtime, memory, storage and traffic before choosing.

Is shared hosting only for WordPress?

No. It is a starting point for compatible websites, stores, forums, CMSs and other applications that fit its runtime and resource limits. Include the exact application, versions and extensions in your request.

What does the $50 VPS plan include?

VPS S lists 4 vCPU, 8 GB RAM, 80 GB NVMe, 10 TB transfer on a 1 Gbps port and root access. TitanDash and Dart access are included. The $50 is the monthly hosting price.

Why do dedicated servers have different prices?

Each price belongs to a named CPU, memory, storage and location configuration. The five current monthly prices are $239, $239, $259, $319 and $819. Compare the complete hardware specification on the dedicated page.

What does Proposed mean?

A proposed tier is a draft catalog configuration, not available to select in a request. The current choices are Managed Site, VPS S and the five named dedicated servers. Discuss larger requirements before assuming a proposed tier is available.

Are there costs beyond the monthly hosting price?

The published additional rates are $5 per bounded approved Dart task and a $20-per-site migration base rate. Confirm the scope of both. Setup, licenses, custom resources, taxes, renewal and cancellation terms must also be confirmed before service.

Management & access

Know who can do what.

Service responsibilities →
What is managed?

TitanDash and Dart access are included with hosting. The exact operating-system, application, backup, monitoring and incident-response scope must be agreed for your service. Separately approved Dart work is listed at $5 per bounded task; confirm the boundary before authorizing work.

What does a Dart task cost?

The published rate for one bounded, separately approved task is $5. Before authorizing work, establish whether it is covered by your management scope or is separately charged, and review the intended action and price.

Can public Dart chat change my server?

No. Guest chat discusses the information you provide and has no server-action authority. Account-specific operations belong in the authenticated panel with the permissions and approval required for that work.

Will hosting include building or editing my website?

Hosting and server-management assistance do not automatically include application development, redesign or content edits. Identify who owns code changes, extensions and application maintenance in your service scope.

How do backups and restores work?

Confirm the schedule, retention, storage location, restore procedure and any restore charge for your selected plan before service begins. Disk capacity or RAID in a server specification does not describe a backup policy.

Where will my server run?

The VPS catalog lists location codes, and each dedicated configuration identifies a city and data center. Confirm the location and availability for your exact service during review; a catalog entry is not a capacity reservation.

Migration & support

Moving in and getting help.

Migration guide →
Can my existing site and mail move?

Start with an inventory of the source host, site files, databases, mailboxes, jobs and DNS. Compatibility and access need review before a move is agreed. The published migration base rate is $20 per site; it is not a quote for every possible account or mail migration.

Will a move have zero downtime?

That cannot be promised for every application. Agree the staging, final data synchronization, DNS change, acceptance checks and recovery path before the move. Stores, forums and mail may need special handling while data changes.

What happens after I submit a hosting request?

Your selected configuration and workload details go to Dart for review. The form displays the response when one is received. Submitting does not buy a server, take payment, create an account or begin provisioning.

How do I get help?

Use the support page for guest guidance, service status and client-panel access. Existing customers can view private service details in the client panel; use the support contact agreed for your service when reporting an incident.

What if I cannot sign in?

Start with the sign-in and password-recovery pages linked from Support. If the problem continues, describe the error and when it occurred without putting passwords or recovery codes in guest chat.

Your next step

Still working through a requirement?

Use support to ask about a workload, a migration or the next step for your account.
